First Blog Post!

Hey everyone, just testing out the capabilities of this thing. I am creating this post to see how posting works. Also I want to celebrate the creation of my website. Hooray!!!

Heres a screenshot of the mood board I was using for it. You wouldn't believe how many individual 2D assets I had to make to get this to look presentable. Pretty much everything you see besides fonts was done by me.

If you look real close on the board, you can see some of the other artists I was inspired by. One common theme I saw with all the other portfolio websites during my research was that the art was the emphasis of the page rather than the design of the website itself. I also noticed that he best websites were always easy to navigate.

I included a list of the coolest website layouts I found if anybody is interested:

Relevant Posts?

I'm not sure what the internet pedestrians passing through the site would want to see in these blog posts. Maybe If I make some major technological breakthrough I will post about it. I could probably use these posts as an opportunity to post real time updates of my process work. (For the record, when I refer to process work, I am referring to 3D render passes, WIPs, thumbnails etc.) In addition, I can provide updates on the website as well if I make any major changes to it. My main website will be used primarily as a portfolio site for employers to look at and serve as a hub for my social medias.

Here, we will do things the #marmariyis way.

Anyhow, I think I've said what needed to be said and I'm gonna wrap this up.
